House Of Skeletons

As the popularity of Halloween steadily increases year after year, people have been going to ever-extreme lengths to make their homes look as decrepit, creepy and morbid as possible, and that’s happening all across the nation – not just in Salem. But in Salem, you can always expect homeowners to go the extra mile in terms of creativity. Last year the owner of this beautiful house on Federal Street caused it to become a tourist destination of its own with an army of skeletons of all sizes swarming the grounds. It was an amazing sight during the daylight hours but, not surprisingly, it was breathtaking at night, when the theatrical lighting came into play. We recall reading a news article about the overwhelming demand and shortage of the 12-foot-tall skeletons sold by Home Depot last year. Looks like a pretty good number of them made it to this stately home!
