2025 Salem Cardboard Boat Regatta

The crowds turned out on a beautiful Saturday morning for one of Salem’s most popular summer events, the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta at Salem Maritime National Historical Park! Commanding vessels of cardboard, duct tape and lots of imagination, the crews rowed frantically around the pizza buoy marker. There were many soggy bottoms and captains who went down with their ships only to arise to the whoops and applause of the cheering audience!
